REVLON COLORSTAY CALLA LILY

So excited! so I have quite a few drug stores around where I am from so i was so fortunately to be able to pick up some of the new revlon colorstay nail polishes, including the top coat and base coat, for very very cheap! $1.99 after extra care rewards (CVS)!! (I am currently typing this post, very carefully, as i wait for my nails to dry) TEHEHEHE =). Just couldn't wait to post about it.

Revlon Colorstay Calla Lily.

This is absolutely lovely. It's like a light nude/white with a hint of gold glitter. I did have to put on 3 coat for the gold glitter to be more apparent. However, even at 2 coat, it was quite lovely and fresh.

This is at 1 coat (unfortunately, my itouch camera sucks) can't really see much.

This is with 2 coat. (again, unfortunately, my itouch camera sucks) cant see much of a difference. I can say that you do see more gold glitter in this coat but not much of the white.

This is with 3 coat. It is more apparent here. You can see more of the white along with the gold glitter. If you notice in the previous 2 pictures, my nail bed looked more like purple than the clear white (which is what the bottle looks like).

This is my second nail polish (minus the base and top coat) from revlon colorstay, and so far i LOVE it. It glides on my nails very well and it distributes evenly (maybe that has to do with the way i apply it), but still! HAHA.

Anyways. I will try to leave this on for 11 days, (the amount of days revlon states these polish will stay on without chipping). I'll update with more pictures throughout the 11 days and hopefully by then i can find my camera and the picture quality won't be as bad as these pictures.

Until then, colorize your world.

introduction to colorize my world

I want to tell you all a little about this blog.

I realized i have so much nail polish that i should do something with it, perhaps write about it (hence the reason for this blog). I love natural light opaque pastel shades. As i post pictures of them, you will see that most of my nail polishes are opaque.
My absolute favorite shades are lavender and green. It really isn't necessary to have more than 3 or 4 shades of the same color, but unfortunately I DO, especially for lavender and green.
My favorite nail polish brands are OPI, China glaze, Essie and now also the new Revlon Colorstay.
I have quite a range of nail polish brands with some that i never even heard of before seeing them at the store. There are also quite a few polish that i never even used, even tho i had purchased them a LONG time ago. Another reason is that some nail polish looks pretty in the bottle, but just not flattering on my nails with my skin tone.

I will be blogging about the quality of the nail polish, the shade, and maybe include swatches of what I have on. (I just took off my currently polish off and will be painting them soon). HEHE =)
Here is a top view of my nail polish collection. (how i wished i had one of those displace nail polish rack they have in the salons).
